waterway maintenance projects

As far as is practical a programme of planned maintenance and repairs will be established and followed. Much maintenance work will be in response to short term and urgent needs but we will put in hand the following:

  1. Monitor the Canal: A regular monitoring system will be developed, possibly involving a full time Ranger.
  2. Vandalism: We will explore methods to minimise vandalism.

volunteering/membership

Hi - Iam interested in being a volunteer to help with the restoration and maintenance of the canal. The restoration and maintenance group page of the web-site does not seem to be working so maybe some one can let me know who to contact or what to do? Thanks.
