how to ... keep track of activity on your favourite articles and forums

The list of all the articles, forum topics, etc which you have contributed to - both as author and/or commenter can be found in either of two ways (see below). If an article has been recently published changed or commented on, it floats to the top of the list. Titles marked with a red asterisk * have changed since you last looked at them.

  1. make sure you are logged in
  2. either click 'my account' from the top of the left side menu and then the 'track' tab.
  3. or click 'discussions' from the top menu and then the 'my recent posts' tab.

If you want to keep track of an article or thread, but have nothing to say, just create a comment on that page with only the word 'tracking' or similar. That way it will show up in your list.

Please note that once an article on your tracker list, there's no way to remove it ... obviously inactive threads will sink to the bottom of the list, and so shouldn't get in the way too much! Apologies if this system is a ltittle clumsy, a bettter system is in the pipeline, but this should work fine in the mean time.

Also, the right side menu on the discussions page contains summary lists of 'Active forum topics' and 'Recent comments'.
